Uncle Nick's Smokehouse to participate in A Taste of Lake Martin.

A Taste of Lake Martin Uncle Nick's Smokehouse is proud to be a part of a Taste of Lake Martin this year. Other food vendors include: Emporium Wines, Springhouse Restaurant, JR’s Sports Bar and Grill, Cecil’s Public House, Niffer’s on Lake Martin, Koon’s Catering, Coffee and Cakes, Carlos Mexican Grill, Maria’s Bakery and Teresa’s Catering. Proceeds to benefit Red Cross and Boys and Girls Clubs. This special annual event will be held August 1, 2011 at Emporium Wines in The Shoppes Of Queen's Attic in Alexander City. Tickets to a “Taste of Lake Martin” are $20 and can be purchased at Uncle Nick's Smokehouse or any of the following businesses: Spring House Restaurant, Coffee and Cakes, JR’s Sports Bar and Grill, Emporium Wine, Tapley Appliance, The Body Shop, Aliant Bank, Red Cross and Kowaliga Country 97.5. Yolo Board Racing!

Uncle Nick's Smokehouse, in conjunction with Bay Pine Marina, co-hosted Yolo Board Racing from our pier this afternoon. Live Entertainment provided by Mitch Emmons, who is always a crowd pleaser and is quickly becoming our guests' favorite guitar picker. And who could resist our yummy Lunch Specials and $1 Draft? The Miller Lite Girls were at the event and we also featured a radio remote from 97.5 Kowaliga Country. We had a fun, fantastic crowd and look forward to hosting this event again. Whew, now it's time to recharge for the dinner crowd!
